Get the browser
Click the button. Your Mac will ask you two or three easy questions, and then the browser is yours. It costs nothing and there is no account to make.

- The file lands in your Downloads folder. Most Macs show it straight away at the right-hand end of the Dock, at the bottom of the screen.
- Double-click the file. A window titled Install The OORT 2000 opens. Click Continue, then Install.
- Your Mac asks for your password — the one you use to log in to this computer, not an Apple password. Type it and click Install Software. This is normal; it is how a Mac installs anything.
- When it says it has finished, the browser is in your Applications folder. Click the Finder face at the far left of the Dock, click Applications in the sidebar, and double-click The OORT 2000.
The question your Mac asks the first time
The very first time you open it, a box appears asking whether you are sure you want to open an app that was downloaded from the internet. Click Open. Every Mac app gets this question once, and you will not be asked again. It is not a warning that anything is wrong.
This browser is signed and notarised, which means Apple has checked it and knows who made it: Bramblewick LLC.
